Recent book reviews for Carole Brody Fleet’s Widows Wear Stilettos: A Practical and Emotional Guide for the Young Widow
"After my daughter lost her husband recently, he was 36 years old, I was trying to find her anything and everything that might aid in the healing process. This book was helpful because it was written by a young author that lost her husband at a young age as well. While losing a parent, grand-parent are also hard to deal with, it does not begin to compare to losing a young spouse, your lover, your best friend, your partner in life, during a time when you whole future should lie ahead of you. There were plans, a new home, another baby and then wham in an instant the rug us pulled out from under you and you have to pick up the pieces and continue life with your 2 year old daughter that doesn't understand why daddy doesn't come home. While it is not a cure-all (there isn't one) it was helpful to my daughter and myself."
