Pete Dulcamara is the founder of Pete Dulcamara & Associates, a consultancy dedicated to “helping create businesses that improve people’s lives.” Central to Pete’s work is the concept of humanity-centric innovation, which leverages AI to solve humanity’s biggest challenges in economically viable ways. He redefines a “billionaire” as someone who impacts a billion lives.
With extensive expertise in AI and digital transformation, Pete has a distinguished career leading global innovation. As Chief Scientist and Vice President of Corporate Research & Engineering at Kimberly-Clark, he advanced the field of “superabsorbency”—a method of collection and disposal of various forms of human waste. This unique expertise has led to his taboo-breaking ideas for using these products to collect biowaste in a circular economy. As such, Pete has integrated advanced technologies like AI into business strategies across all regions and brands. He also led employee and community engagement as Site Leader for the company’s Innovation and Operational Excellence Center, supporting 2,500 employees.
Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Pete held senior roles at The Dow Chemical Company, driving advancements in R&D, sustainability, and corporate innovation. His expertise spans AI-driven R&D, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.
Pete currently serves on the Executive Advisory Board for High Impact Technologies at Stanford University and contributes as a board member for Bassett Mechanical. He is a Chemicals & Materials Partner at FutureBridge, Executive Partner at Pilot Lite, and a partner at Midpoint Consulting, where he focuses on AI education for the modern workforce. As a founding member of the Advisory Board for the Central Wisconsin AI Center, Pete is advancing a three-year goal to engage over 100,000 workers and 300 businesses in creating an AI-ready workforce.
Pete’s insights have global resonance. He has delivered a TEDx talk on humanity-centric innovation and regularly speaks on AI’s transformative potential, earning acclaim for making complex topics accessible and inspiring actionable innovation.
