A publishing business is like beachfront property. Thrilling. Beautiful. Expensive to maintain. Vulnerable in the face of powerful forces. Compelling reasons to go into publishing include a desire to support talent and put important ideas in the spotlight. Despite the risk, launching this business makes sense to us because of our desire to do both.
